Little Mariposa was born small. In fact, she was so small her parents were worried she would be a dwarf. Very concerned papa said,
Doctor, is anything wrong with her? Why isn't she responding well to any of her milk, vitamins, or vegetables? It's been 5 months and she's still barely 6lbs in weight.
It would just make sense that her father be worried, considering he's 6'1" and his wife, 5'8". Little Mariposa was not born premature, in fact, she was expected to be a big baby. Surprisingly, she was born barely 4 lbs. So tiny in size, her papa was able to hold her securely with one hand. Her sweet very soft spoken mama was full of glee and excitement. Faintly she said
Marie...Mariposa.
