There was a little girl named Mariposa. She was cute and small. She had dark hair that flowed like the waves of the ocean through the wind that blew. Mariposa loved her mom and dad dearly and she was generally a good girl, but sometimes she just can't help being so curious. It should be fine that in the age of 3 a child be very curious about his/her surroundings. She's always wandering off, talking to imaginary friends too. Mariposa has a small face with pink pouty lips. Her nose was just right and her cheeks were juicy pink, but what stood out the most were her big almond eyes. Sometimes when she smiled, laughed or cry, her eyes would curve with her long enough lashes, which gave her a winged eye appearance. Without any other expression, but of wonder and amazement, her eyes would sparkle. There would be glimmer in her eyes that gave an illusion of the deep sea. When her eyes were at this state, they looked big and round. She often had this eye, being left on her own.

Batang si Mariposa
Little Mariposa was born small. In fact, she was so small her parents were worried she would be a dwarf. Very concerned papa said,
Doctor, is anything wrong with her? Why isn't she responding well to any of her milk, vitamins, or vegetables? It's been 5 months and she's still barely 6lbs in weight. It would just make sense that her father be worried, considering he's 6'1" and his wife, 5'8". Little Mariposa was not born premature, in fact, she was expected to be a big baby. Surprisingly, she was born barely 4 lbs. So tiny in size, her papa was able to hold her securely with one hand. Her sweet very soft spoken mama was full of glee and excitement. Faintly she said
Marie...Mariposa.
